Air France Airlines CEO on Ticket Prices, EasyJet

In an interview at the IATA annual meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Air France-KLM CEO Benjamin Smith said the airline may need to raise ticket prices to compensate for the spike in fuel costs sparked by the conflict in the Middle East. Smith also signaled he’d be willing to consider a possible involvement in a bid for EasyJet should he receive a call from investment firm Castlelake with a proposition. (Source: Bloomberg)
