Nigerian Startup Bets Big on Drones

As drone attacks become increasingly common across the Sahel, Nigerian startup Terra Industries is expanding into Ghana and scaling production of drone and counter-drone systems. Backed by $34 million from investors including Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale and Lux Capital, the company aims to produce tens of thousands of systems over the coming years as governments across the region bolster their defenses.
