The US and Iran have reached an interim agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, halting a conflict that has rattled the wider region. But Israel bombed Lebanon's capital Beirut in retaliation for drone incursions by Hezbollah, despite warnings from President Trump to stop the attacks. Julia Roknifard, Senior Lecturer at the School of Law & Governance at Taylor's University, Malaysia spoke to Bloomberg’s Abeer Abu Omar on Horizons Middle East and Africa on Israel’s role in the deal.
